I ordered the round Hickory cover (large), the rectangular (x-large), and storage bag.They have covered our deck furniture essentially every day since receiving them four months ago.These are used on our deck at a second home in the mountains and live in a very harsh environment. The winds are high, there is 50 inches of rain per year, and they are exposed to droppings from surrounding trees.I am very pleased with the design, quality, and service. (For my review of the storage bag, you’ll find it under that product.)
There are design features of the Hickory line that I value more after having experience with the product than when I ordered it.Two examples that come to mind are the handles and the vents.These are reasonably large covers and are difficult to manage because of their size.The handles make it much easier to cover and uncover furniture.The vents are important because of the high winds we experience in the mountains.They let air escape to keep the covers from blowing off, the vents keep the furniture ventilated, yet they keep the rain out.I will disagree with one reviewer who criticized the design because there are only two tie down straps.With the straps secure and the elastic hem cord pulled tight, our covers have stayed in place even with severe winds.
I can’t add to the comments others have made about quality, so I’ll just say I agree that quality and materials are excellent.
The service is great.When I was covering the table for the final time this year, the cover caught on the corner of the table and a 3" tear was the result.I emailed Classic Accessories asking for their recommendations for patching material.I got a prompt response that this cover has a lifetime guarantee.I learned that I just need to take a picture of the damage and fill out a form, no need to go to the trouble of returning the product.I think that is terrific.
I recommend Classic Accessories products, especially their top-of-the-line Hickory.
6/17/15 Update.Their warranty is fantastic.For the torn cover I simply filled out an online form and uploaded a photo and Amazon invoice.It came promptly with no shipping and handling charge.
I order the Veranda series which does not have any warranty, the entire set basically evaporated, turned to a paper like material and turned to dust when trying to remove; in only 3 months!
So I figure you get what you pay for right? I purchased the Heavy Duty ones with a limited lifetime warranty, these thing aren’t cheap. It’s not even been a year and it has ripped.While pulling up on it to removed from the table it ripped in my hand, it lasted 11 months.
So I don’t know what the issue is my $20 patio umbrellas I get from Grocery Outlet last long than this stuff. Now I am checking on what the warranty looks like.
The company has a rather no hassle warranty, send a picture of the torn cover along with receipt and numbers from a tag on the cover and they are shipping out a new one. Great I thought, perhaps this one was a fluke as I has not seen any problems with my smaller cover. I recently move my second table and chair and of course I removed the put it back on. Well while working the back yard I saw that the smaller cover was torn. This time it is at the corner of a chair, looks to me like just the weight of the canvas hanging off the back of the chair ripped it.
At this point I have asked if the company will refund my monies.
It looks great as pictured.However, my chair backs are higher than the table, as are most.Therefore, when it rains, the cover becomes a "pool" – it holds water on the table top with the chairs forming the sides of the pool.It collects water on the table top until the water finds a low spot between two chairs and then it fills up that pocket which I eventually have to drain by hand.Great construction, good looking, but with a serious design flaw.We haven’t had a snowfall yet this winter, so I don’t know how it will handle that.
Great cover. Heavy duty. Seems to be an excellent choice! I didn’t realize because of my chair backs being a foot higher than the table the cover holds a ton of water unless I put something in the middle of the table to raise it up. (Pic shown) I have purchased 2 brands the hickory is holding up much better than the other cover,it has gotten moldy and stained in a couple months. The hickory cover has zero mold. Paid a lititle more it’s worth it. Note: my table is 54" with chairs another 12" that’s 66 inches I had to buy the med 70" cover to fit because of my chairs.
Fits perfectly over my 48″ round patio table with 4 chairs.However, it works best at repelling water and preventing it from pooling up on the tabletop if you place a basketball or a beach ball under the middle of it during the raining season.I wish it could’ve hung a few more inches toward the ground.Regardless, this cover works very well at protecting our patio set.I highly recommend this cover.
New ones every couple of years. They have a warranty that far exceeds how long they will last. Within months, the color is washed out. (The color is great when new) and the hooks to attach to chairs, grills, tables, etc come off. I don’t think we have any better options as to do without is more costly to replace the outdoor furniture
This my second cover that I purchased for my outdoor table.The cover originally was nice and seemed strong to outlast others. However, over time the material got frail and just ripped.I need to cover the table and I did not want to use a tarpso I am purchasing number two of the hickory round table cover.
This is a replacement for the cover we ordered about 18 months ago.The original made it through two Texas summers of continuous, direct sun for the entire day.In the end, the UV and other weather factors took their toll, and the cover became brittle and ripped.However, the features like the fit and the handles that make it easy to take on and off made it an easy decision to replace it with the same brand and model.Our fire pit is octagonal, and the round cover fit very well.
